Welcome to Evergreen Athletics|
Evergreen Middle School's athletic program dynamically supports the academic mission of the school. Evergreen's mission is to set high expectations for its coaches and student-athletes. Our athletic program will promote interscholastic athletics that provide lifelong experiences for student-athletes while enhancing their achievement of educational goals.
We want our student-athletes to learn the values of teamwork, pride, respect, commitment, good work ethic, and sportsmanship. It is our hope that through our athletic programs, participating student-athletes will adopt these guidelines and develop a positive winning attitude that will carry over into all aspects of their lives.
Practices will be held Monday - Thursday from 2:10 to 4:15pm unless otherwise stated. An activity bus will be available for athletes at 4:30pm.
**Parents please note that the arrival time for this bus varies depending on the number of athletes riding it home each day. Typically in the Fall sport season there are more students riding and, therefore, a longer ride-time to get home. Also, during a sport season where the number of athletes is not large, we may suspend bus operations.

Athletic Registration & Fees Evergreen Competition Schedules
Athletic Seasons|
Athletics are split into 4 seasons. Athletes can participate in one sport per season. Below are sports by season and their first day of practice for the 2025-2026 school year. All athletes are required to have a specific number of practices prior to participation in their first competition, so if you are planning on participating in a sport, it is highly advantageous for you to get signed up well in advance of the first day of practice.
**6th graders can practice in Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track and Field but are not able to compete.
Athletic Fee per sport: $40.00 (7th & 8th)
ASB Card Fee (one-time): $20.00 (All Grades)
After Practice Activity Bus Transportation|
On days that your child is participating in a tryout or practice related to one of our Evergreen Athletics teams, we will offer bus transportation home on what we refer to as Activity Busses. These busses depart shortly after our afternoon practices concluded (4:15pm) and service our normal Evergreen bus routes.
Many stops are serviced but there is a chance that your child may need to exit at a community stop near your residence. Should you have any questions about after-practice transportation home on our activity bus, please reach out to our Evergreen office.
